Maintaining delivery reliability towards our customers is what drives us in our day-to-day work. In order to improve this even further in the future, a workshop was held last week at the Hamburg site with 12 participants from 5 SCHRAG plants. With the active support of LF-Consulting, measures to increase on-time delivery were developed as a team. Various planning approaches were tested and evaluated using a simulation game. A lot of fun, the great team constellation and the pursuit of continuous improvement enabled the group to playfully optimise the planning process and thus identify levers for increasing delivery reliability. The knowledge gained is now being used to optimise the internal and cross-plant planning process and the associated tools. Goals of the endeavour - Increasing the benefits for our customers through one hundred percent on-time delivery.
