Use of tension and compression struts in continuous rooflight frames

Tension/compression struts offer static and economic advantages

As load-bearing substructures for all continuous rooflight systems, our frames fulfil the functional requirements of modern lightweight metal construction. Well thought-out down to the last tension strut, our complete solutions offer the desired convenience. Optimised preliminary work for installation offers you economic advantages on the construction site. We are happy to incorporate individual requirements and demands into the production of our continuous rooflight frames and tension struts. Our complete solutions are characterised by the following parameters:

  • Complete processing - perforated, notched or mitre-cut
  • All accessories included - corner brackets, connecting brackets, tension, compression or diagonal struts as U-profiles or tubes, fixing material
  • Production lengths of up to 12,500 mm
  • Material thicknesses from 1.50-4.00 mm
  • CE marking in accordance with EN 1090

With regard to the types of material used, we rely on structural steels of grade S320GD in accordance with EN 10346 in the galvanised version Z/ZM or in the galvanised and coated version Z/ZM plus 25 µm/RSL. Coatings (RAL 9002, RAL 9010) are also possible. We are happy to offer you other materials on request.
