In contrast to conventional construction methods using natural stone, masonry, plaster and lime, lightweight metal construction has a number of special features in terms of building physics. Our understanding of quality begins with the use of the primary material, such as the use of material with high yield strengths. High dimensional accuracy and assembly-orientated prefabrication ensure that your projects run smoothly. In the area of load-bearing profiles, our edge profiles are CE-marked in accordance with EN 1090. The positioning of the profiles makes it easier to allocate the components during assembly on the construction site. On request, we also support our customers together with our colleagues from SCHRAG|Engineering Services with design issues, profile value calculations, dimensioning and structural optimisation of their projects.
Founding member of the IFBS
SCHRAG|Kantprofile is one of the founding members of the IFBS (International Federation for Lightweight Metal Construction). For more than 50 years, the IFBS has been the first point of contact for all questions relating to modern construction with sheet metal. The aim of the association is to promote lightweight metal construction, e.g. by creating uniform standards for lightweight metal construction. Manufacturers, sales and installation companies, supporting members of the IFBS and partners in other European countries ensure the quality standard in the field of lightweight metal construction.
