Perforated sheets are sheets that are regularly or irregularly perforated in accordance with specified geometries.
They can be used to create all ventilated curtain wall façade systems made of metal or metal composites. On the surface, perforation makes it possible to break up the uniformity of the surface and make the façade more architecturally interesting, often displaying a visually sophisticated, customised motif.
Secondly, perforations represent a comparatively favourable variant in the area of immovable sun or privacy protection systems: Whilst being largely invisible from the outside, they still allow sufficient subdued daylight into the interior of the building; by covering the window openings, the façade surface also appears very homogeneous overall.
