Hole pattern

Hole pattern

A hole pattern defines the number, geometry, size and position of penetrations. It can be arranged evenly (e.g. Rv5-8) or irregularly, in which case it serves as a visual eye-catcher in the form of a pictorial motif.
With façade elements, it is important to ensure that the stability of the element is maintained despite the reduction in material.

A hole pattern is usually punched; if this is done with galvanised sheet steel up to t=1.50mm, it can be assumed that the "cathodic edge protection" will still effectively protect the cut edges from corrosion.
