SCHRAG has a tradition that goes back many years. And today the company, the origins of which date back to the year 1892, is still being managed as a family business in its fourth generation.

During the 1960s, the company began to specialise in the production and sale of edging profiles for industrial and commercial construction. SCHRAG|Edging Profiles operates several production facilities in Germany. Additional branches have recently been added in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Switzerland. Countries in Central and Eastern Europe have become important sales markets for us and will remain so in future. Our edging profile business has now been supplemented by SCHRAG|Engineering Services, which specialises in services in the light metal construction sector.

More recently, the range of services has been rounded off by the addition of SCHRAG|Facades. Our production site in Chemnitz specialises in the planning and production of metal facades.

The SCHRAG|Roof Metals division is the leading wholesale roofing specialist for building plumbers, roofing companies, renovators and sheet metal workers in East Germany.

Continuity and reliability have always been the basis of our successful corporate policy and this tradition is now being continued under the leadership of the company's managing partner, Thomas Goswin, and its executive director, Jörg Kindermann.
